Routes with challenges
Unique Sensations
Take walks through the mining and megalithic heritage or through waterfalls and lagoons. Imagine yourself walking along a river with crystal clear waters, winding through a mountain scenery, diving in lost lagoons, jumping small waterfalls and sliding on natural slides. Venture down the Vouga River in canoes or try to stand up paddle at the Vouga Dam. Cycling along the most beautiful eco-track in the country on the old railway line of Vale do Vouga. Explore the valley off the beaten path through a waterfall route or on an Off-Road vehicle. Land of mountains and rivers, of memory and knowledge, of people that keep and transmit a strong spirit of complicity between Past and Future: The Spirit of the Place. Finally, for a more adventurous challenge, we suggest canyoning along the Lordelo river. This is one of the most fascinating adventure sport activities, in which adventurers mingle with the river and nature.

This is a bike tour in a unique setting, the Vouga river, its picturesque valley and the heritage of the old railway line of the Vouga valley. The railway tunnels give the landscape a bucolic atmosphere of unique charm, conserved by the image of an old diesel engine. But the main highlight will be the crossing of the Poço de Santiago bridge, ex-libris of the region and considered the tallest masonry bridge in the Iberian Peninsula.
